Performance Physiotherapy
Performance physiotherapy is for people who want to recover stronger, reduce injury risk, and keep doing the activities or sports they care about. It’s well suited to those dealing with an injury or managing pain that flares with training. At Range, treatment combines hands-on care with strength and movement-based rehab. With backgrounds in strength & conditioning, our physiotherapists understand the demands of sport and training. We also use tools like VALD Performance Technology to assess strength and readiness to return to activity/sport so you can confidently get back on the court, field, or trails. This service may be right for you if you’re:
- Recovering from a sports or training injury
- Returning to activity or sport after surgery (including ACL rehab)
- Limited by pain during sport, work, or training
- Looking to reduce your risk of reinjury
- Want to get stronger, faster or move better
IMS Dry Needling
IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation), also known as dry needling, is used to treat muscle tension, trigger points, and pain related to muscle tightness or dysfunction. It’s commonly used when pain persists despite rest, stretching, or other treatments. At Range, IMS is used as part of a broader physiotherapy approach. Fine needles are inserted into targeted muscles to help release tension, improve muscle function, and reduce pain. Dry needling is often combined with manual therapy, movement, and exercise-based rehab to support longer-lasting results. This service may be right for you if you’re:
- Dealing with persistent muscle tightness or tension
- Experiencing pain that hasn’t responded to other treatments
- Noticing restricted movement related to muscle stiffness
- Managing headaches, neck, shoulder, or back pain
- Looking to support your rehab or training recovery

Surgical Rehab
Surgical rehabilitation is for people recovering after surgery who want to regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their body. It’s well suited to those preparing for surgery or working through recovery afterward, including joint repairs, ligament reconstruction, and post-operative pain or stiffness.
At Range, post-surgical rehab combines hands-on care with progressive, strength-based rehabilitation. We focus on restoring movement, rebuilding strength, and gradually returning you to daily activities, work, or sport. Care is tailored to your stage of healing and adjusted as you improve, with clear guidance at each step of recovery.
This service may be right for you if you’re:
- Recovering after surgery (including ACL, joint, or orthopedic procedures)
- Experiencing stiffness, weakness, or swelling post-op
- Preparing for surgery and want to optimize recovery
- Returning to work, activity, or sport after a procedure
- Looking for structured, progressive rehab with clear direction
How It Works
We Start By Listening
Your first appointment is a 45-minute visit where we take the time to ask questions and understand what’s been going on, followed by an assessment of how you move.
We Treat What We Find
Based on your assessment, your physiotherapist will provide hands-on treatment and guided exercises to help reduce your pain and improve your movement.
You Leave With A Plan
You’ll leave with exercises designed to build strength, improve mobility, and support pain-free movement, along with clear next steps for your care.
